1932

Company was incorporated,

1933

Started business with Commissioned a Sugar Mill at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh with a capacity of 400 TCD.

1945

Commissionimg of the distillery to produce the Industrial Alcohol at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

1956

The equity shares of the Company initially got listed on The Stock Exchange, Bombay

1976

The Company purchased a sugar factory named Rosa Sugar Works at Rosa, Dist. Shahjahanpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh with a crushing capacity of 1000 TCD.
The said Rosa Sugar Works was established in the year 1835 by Keru & Company

1977

ncreased total crushing capacity to 2500 TCD at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

1984

The company further expended its network by acquiring another sugar complex named New Swadeshi Sugar Mills Ltd. was merged with the Company. The said New Swadeshi Sugar Mills Ltd. was incorporated in the year 1932 and started its business with a sugar factory at Narkatiaganj, Dist.West Champaran in the state of Bihar. The said Company was having one sugar unit at Narkatiaganj with capacity of 1219 TCD., Distillery at Narkatiaganj started in the year 1960 , Canning factory at Bamrauli near Allahabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1961 and Champaram Marketing Company Limited was incorporated on 23rd February, 1951 under the Indian Companies Act, 1913.

1987

Hargaon Investment & Trading Company Limited and OSM Investment & Trading Company Limited both were incorporated on 26th December, 1986 under the Companies Act, 1956 and became subsidiary of the Company.

1991

Increased total crushing capacity to 3500 TCD at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

1993

Increased total crushing capacity to 2500 TCD at Narkatiaganj Dist. West Champaran in the state of Bihar.

1996

Increased total crushing capacity to 5000 TCD at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh, highest by Sugar industry standards.

1997

Increased total crushing capacity to 2500 TCD at Rosa Sugar Works at Rosa, Dist. Shahjahanpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

1999

Increased total crushing capacity to 5000 TCD at Narkatiaganj Dist. West Chjamparan in the state of Bihar, highest by Sugar industry standards.

2000

Commissioned a new Bio-Compost Plant with a capacity of 20000 Ton per year at Hargaon Dist Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

2001

Enhanced crushing capacity to 4200 TCD at Rosa Dist. Shahjahanpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

2003

To participate in the Gasoline Project initiated by the government for blending of 5% Ethanol with Petrol the Ethanol Plant was commissioned with a capacity of 50 KLPD at Narkatiaganj Dist. West Champaran in the state of Bihar

Hargaon Properties Limited was incorporated on 18th November, 2003 under the Companies Act, 1956 and became a subsidiary of Hargaon Investment & Trading Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Company since its incorporation.

2004

Enhanced crushing capacity to 6500 TCD at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh and achieved highest sugar recovery of 10.85% in the state of Uttar Pradesh

2005

Enhanced crushing capacity to 7500 TCD at Hargaon Dist. Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Commissioned a new Bio-Compost Plant with a capacity of 13500 Ton per year at Narkatiaganj, Dist-West Champaran in the state of Bihar.

2006

Enhanced crushing capacity to 10000 TCD with complete automation for Sugar Factory operations along with new 15 MW Co-generation plant at Hargaon Dist Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh

Enhanced crushing capacity to 7500 TCD with complete automation for Sugar Factory operations along with new 10 MW Co-generation plant at Narkatiaganj, Dist. West Champaran in the state of Bihar.

2007

The Company achieved ISO 9001-2000 certification and ISO 14001-2004 certification.

2008

Commissioned a Most modern distillery of 100 KLPD capacity with Molecular Sieve Dehydration System to produce best quality Ethanol and Rectified Spirit distillery plant, 30TPH slop firing Boiler in which the discharged spent wash from the Distillery is being used as fuel by concentrating in five effects forced recirculation Evaporating plant. This process not only need the requirement of Pollution Control Board but also provides an alternative fuel. At Hargaon Dist Sitapur in the state of Uttar Pradesh Commissioned a new Refined Sugar Plant at Hata with a capacity of 7000 TCD along with 20 M W Co-generation plant started at Hata Dist Kushinagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

2009

Commissioned a new Refined Sugar Plant at Hata with a capacity of 7000 TCD at Hata Dist Kushinagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Enhanced capacity to 60 KLPD with Molecular Sieve Dehydration System to produce best quality Ethanol and Rectified Spirit distillery plant at Narkatiaganj Dist. West Champaran in the state of Bihar.

2010

Commissioned a new Co-generation Plant at Hata with a capacity of 20 MW at Hata Dist Kushinagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

2012

Hargaon Sugar Unit achieved the 3rd highest Cane crushing in India by 152 lacs qtls

Enhanced crushing capacity to 8000 TCD at Hata Dist. Kushi Nagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
